Our Mission
General Pediatrics provides comprehensive and follow-up care
for children through age 13. Clinic hours are from 8:00 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Emergency care is provided
through The Children's Hospital of Oklahoma Emergency Department
for all patients under the age of 21. The Emergency Department
provides care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and provides
comprehensive emergency services to acutely ill and injured
children, with in-house coverage by the General Pediatrics
staff pediatricians. A full range of pediatric subspecialty
and surgical services is available, and the CHO ED serves
as medical control for the emergency care of children by
EMSA and MediFlight. Special attention is focused on the
needs of the special care child.
