The person filling this position will supervise residents and students in a full service, tertiary care Children’s Hospital Emergency Department. Academic faculty members are expected to be productive in research and to contribute to the section’s clinical and educational mission. Minimum qualifications will include BC/BE in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
This is a non-tenure track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Department of Pediatrics at the Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Children’s Hospital serves as the tertiary referral center for children living in the western two-thirds of the state. The Department of Pediatrics is a multifaceted department with 16 sections and more than 90 faculty members. The faculty constitutes the principal medical staff of Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center and shares a common commitment to serving and protecting the well being of the state’s children as well as providing a quality education to trainees.
Located in Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma, the Department of Pediatrics is a multifaceted department with 16 sections and approximately 100 faculty members.
