Cardiology – Assistant/Associate Professor

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is seeking nominations to fill a tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The nominee will teach students and residents and participate as active clinical cardiologists utilizing skills in both noninvasive and invasive studies. Special clinical skills in electrophysiology are encouraged. Applicants should be Board certified in Pediatrics and Board eligible or certified in Pediatric Cardiology.
The Pediatric Cardiology section at the University of Oklahoma currently consists of seven members with active clinical services. Current clinical programs include (1) echocardiography (TTE, TEE, remote telemedicine and fetal) (2) catheterization (diagnostic, balloon/stent angioplasty/valvuloplasty and Amplatz device closure (3) electrophysiology (diagnostic and RF ablation, pacemaker implant) and (4) outpatient clinics (on campus and satellite sites in Oklahoma City and in rural Oklahoma).
