The Section of Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology includes a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, some of which specialize in endocrine disorders. The section team members strive to fulfill all areas of the mission of the Department of Pediatrics, including patient care, teaching and research. Most members of the section participate in clinical activities, work on individual research projects and provide education to residents and students from various disciplines.

Our mission is to provide superior family centered pediatric endocrine services, incorporating the most recent medical treatments developed through relevant clinical research and teaching. The endocrine department provides expertise in the disorders of: adrenal glands, thyroid gland, pituitary gland, hypothalamus gland, disorders of sex development, growth, puberty and bone and mineral metabolism. Physicians, as well as Pediatric Endocrine Nurse Specialists are available to provide educational training specific to all of the above listed disorders.
